Description

Objective of this training to make interns understanding of airport familiarisation, interns will learn following area of operations.

Area of Training

1. Airport building, types of airport, role of Airport Authority, organizational chart of airport, presentation of Airport Authority of India.

2. Types of airport sides(city side and air side), control of air space, department at airport

3. ATC, air navigation, rules and regulations of take off and landing, watch overs, control of runway, navigation aids, beacon, communication with aircraft.

4. CNS part 1:- flight information systems, controlling of the airport, different instruments used in communication for the aircraft.

5. CNS part 2:- ILS, glide path, papi lights, airport signs

6. Aviation security

7. Terminal operations from arrival to departure, facilities provided for passengers, VVIP handling.

8. Ramp side operations

9. Airside instrument familiarisation, runway visit.

10. Fire and safety at airport

11. Commercial department, HR department, civil department

12. Metrological department, instruments familiarisation of metrological department.

13. Airlines operation part 1 from city side to terminal side.

14. Airlines Operation part 2 ramp side, working of airlines staff before arrival and after the departure of the aircraft.
